About S.S. Helen

S.S. Helen is an announced ship. Uniworld unveiled it in July 2026 as one of three vessels debuting in 2028, and it is scheduled to join the Danube fleet that year. Named for Helen of Troy, the ship is designed around the Greek idea of philoxenia, warm hospitality, and a connection to nature: a serene atmosphere of modern Mediterranean elegance with subtle references to classical antiquity and the influence of Greek culture on European design.

The ship follows the Super Ship platform of S.S. Emilie, S.S. Audrey, S.S. Marlene and S.S. Clara: 443 feet, 154 guests, a staff of 57 and 77 riverview staterooms from 175-square-foot Classic rooms through 194-to-227-square-foot French Balcony staterooms to eight 286-square-foot Suites and two 412-square-foot Grand Suites with a tub and butler service. A Grand Suite can be joined to the adjoining Deluxe French Balcony to form a two-bedroom suite, and every bed is a handcrafted Savoir Bed of England.

For 2028 Uniworld has given S.S. Helen the long Danube program: the 15-day Danube Grandeur from Belgrade to Nuremberg, Empires of the Lower Danube to Bucharest, Danube East & West, the 25-day Eastern Europe Exploration, the 30-day Amsterdam to the Black Sea, Capital Cities of the Danube, Vineyards & Palaces from Vienna and European Holiday Markets, plus Castles Along the Rhine and Tulips & Windmills early in the year. It suits travelers booking ahead for a brand-new ship on the full length of the Danube.
