About Allure of the Seas

Allure of the Seas is the second Oasis Class ship, launched in December 2010, and the most recently amplified. A $100 million-plus dry dock in spring 2025 added The Perfect Storm waterslides, the Ultimate Abyss slide, Splashaway Bay, a redesigned pool deck and adults-only Solarium, new bars and restaurants, laser tag, an escape room and reimagined kids and teen spaces. The ship now carries 5,718 guests at double occupancy in 2,859 staterooms across 16 guest decks.

What has not changed is the Oasis Class layout people love: Central Park with real trees and the fine-dining 150 Central Park, the Boardwalk with its hand-carved carousel and open-air AquaTheater, and a Royal Promenade that comes alive at night. Allure also stages the full Broadway production of Mamma Mia! in the Royal Theater, alongside AquaTheater dive shows and an ice show in Studio B.

In 2026 and 2027 Allure of the Seas is a Florida ship. It sails from Fort Lauderdale through October 2026, moves to Miami for the winter of 2026 to 2027 with 3, 4 and 6 night Bahamas and Caribbean cruises, then returns to Fort Lauderdale for summer 2027 6 and 8 night Western and Southern Caribbean sailings. It is a strong pick for families and groups who want the biggest-ship experience with short, easy itineraries.

The spring 2025 dry dock added The Perfect Storm waterslides, the Ultimate Abyss dry slide, Splashaway Bay, a redesigned pool deck and Solarium, El Loco Fresh, The Mason Jar, The Lime & Coconut, the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, laser tag, a Royal Escape Room, new Adventure Ocean and teen spaces, and additional staterooms.
How big is Allure of the Seas?
Allure of the Seas is 225,282 gross tons and 1,187 feet long with 16 guest decks. After the 2025 refit it has 2,859 staterooms and carries 5,718 guests at double occupancy with a crew of about 2,103. It is one of the largest cruise ships in the world and a near twin of Oasis of the Seas.
Where does Allure of the Seas sail in 2026 and 2027?
Allure sails from Fort Lauderdale through October 2026, then from Miami for the 2026 to 2027 winter on 3, 4 and 6 night cruises to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau and the Western Caribbean. In May 2027 it returns to Fort Lauderdale for 6 and 8 night Western and Southern Caribbean cruises before heading back to Miami in November 2027 for 7 night sailings.
Which cabins are best on Allure of the Seas?
Boardwalk View balconies near the aft give you a free seat for the AquaTheater shows, Central Park View balconies are quiet and leafy, and Ocean View Balconies are the pick for sea views. Families with a bigger budget should look at the two-bedroom AquaTheater Suites or a Crown Loft Suite for Royal Suite Class perks.
What is included on Allure of the Seas?
The fare includes the Main Dining Room, Windjammer, Park Café, El Loco Fresh, Sorrento’s, Café Promenade, the Boardwalk Dog House and Solarium Bistro, all shows including Mamma Mia!, the waterslides, FlowRiders, zip line, rock climbing, ice skating and Adventure Ocean. Specialty dining, drinks and Wi-Fi cost extra. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Royal Caribbean allows it, not available booking direct.
Is Allure of the Seas a good choice for a short cruise?
Yes. From Miami in winter 2026 to 2027 Allure runs 3 and 4 night cruises to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, which is one of the few ways to try an Oasis Class ship on a long weekend. With so much onboard, many guests treat the ship itself as the destination and spend sea days on the slides, at the shows and in Central Park.
