Utopia of the Seas: ship guide
Newest Oasis Class ship, built for 3- and 4-night Bahamas getaways from Port Canaveral.
Best for: First-time cruisers, groups and Florida weekenders who want a full Oasis Class experience in three or four nights from Port Canaveral. Sails from Port Canaveral in 2026 and 2027.

About Utopia of the Seas
Utopia of the Seas is the sixth and final Oasis Class ship, delivered by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in June 2024 and the first in her class to run on liquefied natural gas. At 236,473 gross tons with 18 decks, 2,834 staterooms and 5,668 guests at double occupancy, she is a full-size Oasis Class ship that Royal Caribbean markets as the world’s biggest weekend: the whole deployment is built around short sailings.
The eight neighborhoods include Central Park, the Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade and a dedicated Suite Neighborhood. New to the fleet on Utopia were the Royal Railway: Utopia Station immersive train-car dinner, the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, Solarium Suites and a stretched 259-foot Ultimate Abyss dry slide. The Izumi Hibachi & Sushi here is the largest in the fleet, and the Spare Tire food truck feeds the pool deck.
For 2026 and 2027 Utopia sails year-round from Port Canaveral on 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday cruises to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, with a handful of longer sailings such as a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Christmas cruise in December 2026. She is the easy choice for a first cruise, a long weekend or a group that wants a big ship without taking a week off.
- Royal Railway: Utopia Station, a multi-course dinner aboard a simulated train journey
- Ultimate Abyss, the longest dry slide at sea at 259 feet
- The Perfect Storm trio of waterslides: Supercell, Typhoon and Cyclone
- Five pools and eight whirlpools, plus a fourth pool on the Suite Sun Deck
- Pesky Parrot, the fleet’s first Caribbean tiki bar, on the Royal Promenade
- Largest Izumi Hibachi & Sushi in the fleet with six teppanyaki tables
- Zip line nine decks above the Boardwalk and two rock climbing walls
- Short sailings that always include Perfect Day at CocoCay
