About Sun Princess
Sun Princess launched the Sphere Class in 2024 and is the largest ship Princess had ever built at 177,882 gross tons, with 2,157 staterooms and 4,300 guests at double occupancy. Her signature is the Piazza, a three-deck atrium enclosed in a glass sphere on the side of the ship, joined by The Dome, a glass-roofed pool venue inspired by Santorini terraces that hosts Cirque Éloïze acrobatic shows, and the Princess Arena, a theater that changes shape between shows.
Dining runs across a three-level main dining room, The Eatery marketplace and a long list of celebrity collaborations: The Butcher’s Block by Dario Cecchini, Makoto Ocean, The Catch by Rudi, Love by Britto and Good Spirits at Sea by Rob Floyd. The Sanctuary Collection, introduced in October 2024, turns the 80 suites, 123 mini-suites and 12 premium balconies into a ship-within-a-ship with its own restaurant and top-deck Sanctuary Club.
For 2026 Sun Princess spends spring through fall in the Mediterranean on 7 to 21 night cruises from Barcelona, Rome (Civitavecchia) and Athens (Piraeus), including the August 2026 total solar eclipse sailings, then crosses to Fort Lauderdale for 7 to 14 night Caribbean cruises through March 2027 with calls at Celebration Key. She returns to Barcelona in spring 2027. She suits couples and families who want a big, new, resort-style ship with plenty of adults-only space.
