About Costa Diadema

Costa Diadema was delivered by Fincantieri in October 2014 as the largest ship ever built for Costa at the time and the only Dream-class hull in Costa colors. At 132,500 gross tons with 1,862 staterooms, 756 of them with balconies, she carries about 3,700 guests at double occupancy. Her signature is the Solemio Spa, 7,800 square meters spread over several decks with a thalassotherapy pool, sauna and Turkish bath, the largest in the Costa fleet.

Costa counts eight restaurants and snack bars and 11 bars and lounges, including the Carlsberg Country Rock Club with live rock and beer cocktails, a Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pummid’Oro pizzeria, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Bollicine bar for Ferrari Trentodoc sparkling wine and a real German pub. Three pools, one under a retractable glass roof, eight whirlpools, a 4D cinema and an entire deck for children with a castle and a pirate galleon round out a ship built for families.

In 2026 Costa Diadema sails seven-night Norwegian fjord cruises from Kiel and Copenhagen through mid-September, then short and longer Western Mediterranean cruises from Savona, Marseille and Barcelona that reach Portugal, the United Kingdom and Morocco. From late November 2026 to early April 2027 she is Costa’s South America ship, sailing from Santos, Itajaí, Buenos Aires and Montevideo, before a transatlantic crossing back to Kiel for a summer 2027 of Northern Europe cruises.
