About Discovery Princess
Discovery Princess is the sixth and final Royal Class ship, delivered in January 2022 and launched from Los Angeles on March 27, 2022. At 145,000 gross tons with 1,830 staterooms and 3,660 guests at double occupancy, she matches sisters Enchanted and Sky Princess: more than 1,400 balconies, two Sky Suites with 270-degree balconies, a Piazza atrium, the SeaWalk glass walkway and a Princess Theater that is the line’s largest.
Dining includes three main dining rooms, Crown Grill, Sabatini’s, The Catch by Rudi seafood restaurant and the 360 immersive dining experience, with Alfredo’s-branded Gigi’s Pizzeria, the Crab Shack pop-up and Chef’s Table Lumiere. The adults-only Sanctuary, Lotus Spa with The Enclave thermal suite, Reserve Collection mini-suites and the Princess Luxury Bed round out a ship built for relaxed, scenery-focused cruising.
Discovery Princess is a West Coast ship. Summers in 2026 and 2027 are spent in Alaska on 7 night Voyage of the Glaciers cruises between Vancouver and Whittier with Glacier Bay, plus Inside Passage roundtrips from Vancouver, combinable with Denali cruisetours. From October 2026 to April 2027 she sails 7 night Mexican Riviera cruises from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta, with short California Coast getaways in between.

Approximately 158 to 162 sq ft with the Princess Luxury Bed; 340 inside staterooms give the best value on a ship where most of the day is spent on deck watching glaciers or at the pool.
Oceanview
Only six Deluxe Oceanview staterooms of about 172 sq ft, so they sell out early; most guests who want a view book a balcony.
Balcony
753 Balcony staterooms of about 214 to 222 sq ft and 311 Deluxe Balconies of about 233 to 279 sq ft with a sofa bed; a balcony is the pick for Alaska scenery and the Mexican Riviera sun.
Mini-Suite and Reserve Collection
374 Mini-Suites of about 323 sq ft with a separate sitting area and a bathtub; Reserve Collection Mini-Suites add an exclusive dining area in the main dining room, priority seating and premium touches.
Suites
42 suites with balconies from about 460 to 932 sq ft, two Window Suites, plus two Sky Suites of about 1,873 sq ft with the largest balconies in the fleet and a private hot tub; suites include Reserve Collection dining, the Concierge Lounge, priority embarkation and a complimentary specialty dinner on embarkation night.
