About Legend of the Seas

Legend of the Seas is the third Icon Class ship and the newest Royal Caribbean ship in service. Meyer Turku delivered her in June 2026 and she sailed her maiden voyage on July 4, 2026, a 7-night Western Mediterranean cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia). Like her sisters she carries 5,610 guests at double occupancy in 2,805 staterooms over 20 decks, with eight neighborhoods including Surfside, Thrill Island, Chill Island, Central Park, the AquaDome, the Royal Promenade, the Hideaway and a Suite Neighborhood.

Royal Caribbean counts 28 dining venues on board, the most on any of its ships, headlined by the Hollywoodland Supper Club and the Royal Railway: Legend Station, a five-course dinner that travels the Silk Routes on screens around a train car. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory plays in the Royal Theater alongside America’s Got Talent LIVE, and Royal Bay, Category 6 and Crown’s Edge carry over from Icon and Star.

Her first season ran from Barcelona and Rome through October 2026. In November 2026 she crosses to Fort Lauderdale for her Caribbean debut and a Veterans Day naming ceremony, then sails 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean itineraries that visit Perfect Day at CocoCay. She returns to the Mediterranean for summer 2027 and comes back to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027.
