Sky Princess is the fourth Royal Class ship, launched in October 2019 and named in Fort Lauderdale that December by NASA pioneers Kay Hire and Poppy Northcutt. She is 141,000 gross tons with 1,830 staterooms and 3,660 guests at double occupancy, and introduced the two Sky Suites with their 270-degree balconies, the largest at sea according to Princess. Royal Class staples include the Piazza atrium, the SeaWalk, the adults-only Sanctuary and Movies Under the Stars.
Dining centers on the Estrella, Cielo and Soleil main dining rooms, with Crown Grill, Sabatini’s, The Catch by Rudi, Alfredo’s Pizzeria, the Crab Shack pop-up, Chef’s Table Lumiere and the Ocean Terrace seafood bar as extras. Reserve Collection mini-suites and suites get their own dining area in the main restaurant, and the Lotus Spa with The Enclave thermal suite is the quiet-day destination.
Sky Princess splits the year between the UK and Florida. Summer 2026 and 2027 are spent on 7 to 28 night cruises from Southampton to the Norwegian fjords, Scandinavia, Iceland, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean, including the August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse. From November 2026 to March 2027 she sails 6 to 8 night Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral to San Juan, St. Thomas, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Princess Cays, moving to Fort Lauderdale for winter 2027 to 2028.
