About Star Princess
Star Princess is the second Sphere Class ship and the newest in the Princess fleet, sailing her inaugural cruise from Barcelona on October 4, 2025. At 177,800 gross tons with 2,157 staterooms and 4,300 guests at double occupancy, she is a near twin of Sun Princess and shares the design that defines the class: a three-deck Piazza wrapped in a glass sphere, the shape-shifting Princess Arena theater, The Dome with its indoor-outdoor pool and stage, and a three-level main dining room.
Star Princess leans into the Sanctuary Collection, Princess’s ship-within-a-ship for 80 suites, 123 mini-suites and a dozen premium balconies, with its own Sanctuary Restaurant, Sanctuary Club pool deck and Signature Suite Lounge. Elsewhere she adds Princess’s largest casino, the SkyDeck sports court and track, celebrity-chef venues from Dario Cecchini, Makoto Okuwa and Rudi Sodamin, and the Spellbound by Magic Castle speakeasy.
In 2026 Star Princess runs her first Alaska season with weekly Inside Passage cruises from Seattle, repositions through the Panama Canal in October, then spends the 2026 to 2027 winter in Fort Lauderdale on 7 to 14 night Caribbean cruises, including Princess’s first call at Celebration Key on November 1, 2026. Spring 2027 brings Mexican Riviera cruises from Los Angeles, a second Seattle Alaska season and a winter 2027 to 2028 move to Port Canaveral. She suits couples and families who want the newest hardware Princess has.
