Carnival Pride is a Spirit Class ship built by Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki and in service since January 2002. At 88,500 gross tons and 963 feet she carries 2,134 guests with 930 crew on 12 decks, and the Spirit Class design gives most staterooms an ocean view and most of those a balcony. A bow-to-stern refit at Navantia in Cádiz in spring 2023 added the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge and Carnival’s red, white and blue hull, and a 22-day dry dock in Freeport in March 2026 refreshed the casino, boutiques, carpets and upholstery.
The Normandie Restaurant is the two-level main dining room and Lido Marketplace the buffet, with Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina and the Carnival Deli included and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi and the Chef’s Table as the specialty choices. On deck are a midship pool under a retractable roof for Chesapeake-weather sailings, the Carnival Seaside Theater big screen, WaterWorks slides and the adults-only Serenity pool, with Playlist Productions, Family Feud Live and the Punchliner Comedy Club at night.
Carnival Pride sails year-round from Baltimore through 2026 and 2027, mostly on seven-day Bahamas cruises to Celebration Key, Nassau and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays, with seven-day Bermuda cruises in the warmer months. Longer Carnival Journeys break up the year: a 14-day Greenland and Canada voyage, 14-day Southern Caribbean cruises to St. Thomas, Aruba and Antigua, and 9- to 14-day island-hopping sailings in 2027-28. From November 2027 sister ship Carnival Miracle joins her in Baltimore.

What was done in the 2023 and 2026 dry docks?
The spring 2023 refit at Navantia in Cádiz was a bow-to-stern renovation that added the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge and the current red, white and blue hull. The March 2026 dry dock at Grand Bahama Shipyard was a 22-day maintenance and cosmetic stay that refreshed the casino decor, upgraded the Effy boutique and replaced carpets and upholstery in selected areas before she returned to Baltimore on April 9, 2026.
