About Costa Pacifica
Costa Pacifica is the 114,500-ton Concordia Class ship Costa calls its Ship of Music. Every deck is named for a famous musician, the décor is a mix of lights and color, and it was the first cruise ship built with an onboard recording studio. It carries about 3,000 guests at double occupancy in 1,504 staterooms, with 521 balcony cabins, six restaurants and snack bars, eleven bars and lounges, the three-level Teatro Stardust, a two-deck disco, three pools and the 6,000-square-meter Solemio Spa.
A 2019 drydock in Marseille added Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, Gelateria Amarillo and digital signage, and Costa has since layered on its newest dining: Archipelago Edition I, a 12-course Sea and Land tasting menu by chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze and Ángel León, the Sushino at Costa sushi bistro, The Salty Beach poolside street food with Sal de Riso pastries, an Aperol Spritz Bar and Wine Bar Rick’s. The Squok Club, Teen Zone and an outdoor Squok play area keep families busy.
For winter 2026-27 Costa moved Pacifica from its planned Canary Islands program to the Western Mediterranean after a shipyard stay in December 2026: 7-night loops from Civitavecchia (Rome), Savona, Marseille and Barcelona to Naples, Palermo and Tunis, plus longer cruises toward southern Europe and North Africa. From April 2027 it shifts to the Eastern Mediterranean with Greek Islands and Turkey cruises from Athens and Istanbul. It suits value-minded travelers who want an Italian big-ship experience with drive-up ports.
